Demize Bring In A Trio of Players From 2008 Roster
Veterans Look To Offset Season Ending Injuries

Three veteran Demize players from the 2008 season, find their way back into the mix as early season starters find their season dashed short through injury.

Andrew Bordellon (Drury University), Stuart Stapleton (Belmont University), and Ryan Trudgian (OCU) were all forced to call it quits just as the Demize season started heating up.  Bordellon, in preperation for his upcoming Drury season, has forced out through an abdominal strain while Stapleton and Trudgian have journied home due to a dual abdominal/groin strain and Hip Flexor injury, respectfully.

To cope with the recent surge in injuries, the Demize has selected the opportunity to bring in key players from last seasons campaign to offset the losses.  The rosters bolstering start is with defender Daniel Knop (Memphis University) followed by midfielder Patrick Gritz (W. Illinois) and defender/forward Eishun ’Ace’ Yoshida (ICC).

Knop, a member of the USL Combine this past December, is expected to add extra strength in defense as the 6’4" defender looks to regain fitness and fight his way back into the starting line-up in the upcoming games.  Yoshida has a dual threat in that the speedy Japanese player can slot in as a wing back or an outside forward.  Finally Gritz will be poised to add strength and stability to a strong Demize midfield.

All the best for the team as they battle it out tonight with the Thunder in Rochester, MN.
